An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager to lead growth in a Complex Care division in central London. This will be an internal role to expand on the business already inbound and focus on new relations.

You will be essential in next phase of the divisions success and a key face of the business. You liaise with the clinical team and coordinators to secure more inbound business nationwide.

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the bidding process for referrals and care packages
  • Managing the full sales cycle and expansion of inbound business, from initial attraction, to onboarding clients and passing them to the coordinator teams.
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients and candidates
  • Identifying the best complex care clients and mapping the market
  • Ensuring the growth of the complex care division and building a team around you
  • Building a deep understanding of our clients personal requirements and legislation
  • Ensuring market presence by utilising the internal database, advertisements, job boards, referrals, social media and networking
  • Working towards sales targets and meeting weekly and monthly KPI’s
  • Using a variety of sales techniques in order to achieve success and close sales
  • To improve customer relations and overall service delivery to our clients
  • Gain better buy-in and commitment from our clients to maximise on opportunities
  • Promote client growth all the time
  • Help Senior Leadership Team to understand business intelligence, management information and any opportunities missed
  • Help the Senior Leadership Team to understand key growth opportunities and present these frequently
  • To work with the clinical team to identify how we can improve service delivery, increasing hours and resourcing capabilities. 
  • To work with the wider care team to develop all regions and promote growth at all times.
  • Work with Director to create tailored plans for achieving strong fulfilment for our customers. 
  • Lead with the brand and help us to maintain our likability and integrity with clients
  • Help us drive Key Client/ Customer Accounts
  • Responsible for new client and customer acquisitions
  • Maintain established client and customer relationships


Within Complex Care as a specialism, you will be familiar with liaising with clients about services users, and able to discuss many, (if not all) of the following:

Tracheostomy Care, Complex Care packages, Hiring and staff management, Ventilation Management, Pulse Oximetry Monitoring (Oxygen Saturation), Suctioning, Nutrition Epilepsy Care, Diabetes Management, Continence care, Medicine administration and Positioning, complex physical PMLD (profound and multiple learning disabilities)

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Experience of a fast-paced recruitment environment
  • Ability to expand business and stabilise up a vertical
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Comfortable liaising with C suite management
  • Self-motivated and target driven
  • Driven and hardworking
  • Vision to build and manage a team around them
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills

Salary: 50,000 (flexible)

This is a full time position working from state of the art offices in canary wharf – with work from home every Monday. More WFH is negotiable. Every Friday is dress down.
